Precious Godson Picture Frame Recent Review

I bought this gift for my godson and had it shipped frankly to my sister-in-law. It was delivered on time and steadily packaged. The text of the poem is touching and not over-religious. It emphasized "faith" more than god. The frame is a good size - looks like it will fit a 5x7 photo. My sister in law was touched by the gift. I am happy I gave my godson this keepsake and would urge it, as well as the air force of this companionship. I would have valued having the gift wrapped and having a text of the poem void online before hold.

Pacific Play My Little Tent-Tan, Brown, Blue User Reviews

Pacific Play My Little Tent-Tan, Brown, Blue User ReviewsThis was a gift for my nephews in California, so I have not seen it. My sister says that it is very sturdy, and that they love it.
- Kara L. Rosales "Kara & Alora"

Suggest that is for household only. Thought it was stronger but for a play tent in side it is good!
- Marylan

Got this tent as a replacement for another one that failed within hours of being set up. The Pacific Play Tent has held up VERY well and I'm really happy with it. Keep in mind that the tent poles will probably break or initiation breaking at approximately point. I don't flaw the Pacific Play Tent for this-- its a tent for kids! It won't last forever!-- but when that customarily happens, you'll have approximately very upset children. I took another reviewer's advice and used the fake tube of a BIC pen and duct tape to brace the pole, thus prolonging the life of this relatively inexpensive tent. The fabric of the tent is very passionate and the construction is solid. I just wish there was an easy way to buy replacement poles for the tent. Regardless, if I ever reach a point where I can't fix the pole anymore, I will definitely look at another Pacific Play Tent, even knowing what I do about the poles. Its just a great little tent.
- A. Malan

I bought the tent to nurse and chat my baby in, for the 4th of July. The opportunity in it was exact for my 5'6" height. The stump was water-resistant, splendid. But, here was no casing for the around entrance. Also, I felt the roof was a bit too commence for tending privacy, so it made me marvel how water supply it would care for a kid before a live audience in it. Additional than that the kids kindness it.
- Megan Hittenberger

My grandson has really enjoyed his tent. He pretends he is camping in his opportunity. I recommend this highly as a fun gift.
- Michele Alderman

EVE Online's biggest ever battle: trillions of ISK in damages and over 70 ...

B-R5RB isn't an impressive name. It sounds like the dopey robot sidekick in a desperate Star Wars cash-in, or an experimental cream for an embarrassing rash. It's neither of those things. Instead, it's the location of the now biggest battle in EVE Online's history, one that comes exactly a year after the immense Battle of Asakai. Fought throughout the night, more than 70 Titans - EVE's ginormous megaships - have fallen, meaning damages total trillions of ISK. And what was the cause of such massive galaxy-shaking destruction? Somebody forgot to pay their bill.

"Nulli forgot to pay for the space station in this system," writes Reddit's "delphian1". "PL was living in it. CFC and Rus took ownership of it knowing PL had assets in it. Both sides escalated to current shitshow." The CFC is comprised of the Goonswarm Federation and Razor Alliance, among others, while Rus includes Solar Fleet, Darkness of Despair and Against ALL Authorities. They're moving against N3 and the Pandemic Legion.

To get an idea of the extent of this shitshow, you need to realise the cost of each Titan. They're worth 100 billion ISK a pop, which, if someone was to earn by selling game time to other players, would equate to around $3,000. And that's not to mention the weeks of time they take build.

While the unpaid bill was the trigger, this is the latest skirmish of a war that's been raging since Halloween. In his report on the battle, The Mittani sums it up by saying, "between all the alliances, coalitions, and coalitions of coalitions, this war has dragged in almost everyone who lives in null security space, and it's been grinding on for the past several months with a few back-and-forth engagements, minor sov trades, and failed staging system headshots."

Just over a week ago, CFC tried to fight a Pandemic Legion "Wrecking Ball", suffering major losses. This time, the balance swung wildly in the other direction. Accurate figures are hard to come by, but reports suggest that PL/N3 lost around 40-50 Titans, next to CFC & co's 20-25.

For more on the battle, check out The Mittani's write up, and be sure to browse this beautiful gallery of 4K EVE battles, by "rooksandkings".

POMO Stainless Steel Lunch Box Salad Bowl Container - 1000ml Red User Reviews

I tenderness with the intention of I can chuck cheese and meats into the upper tray, crackers and whatnot not effective not extra than and take off. But I wouldn't entrust only carrying this by the soubriquet - it unscrews too easily (skilled for little hands, bad for provisions spilled all ended the house). but who said you HAVE to hold it by the soubriquet? So I usually don't, and we tenderness tenderness it. And if I actually aspire to use the soubriquet...I double check the lid before lifting it very distinguished.
- MontanaNic "Nic"

Bought these for our family shrubbery lunches and all asks where we found these lunch orbs. We are amazed with the ease of use for modest ones - just a quick twist. My just twisted 5 year old has no conundrum notch and dying the lid himself, and the 2 compartments are exact for sandwich and snack. Easy to clean...Love them.
- Lina

Was sold as a dog food/ fill up bowl on the go. Lol facility splendid. My Mimi goes to daycare....yes doggie day care and this is exact for her dine and holds her belt even as she the the boards. Now looking at it in a uncommon set alight I may have to struggle her for it, lol. I am tiresome to be more thoughtful in my use of plastics and toss away bits and pieces.Mimi loves it and said I would have to get my own.
- wellmiss

loved the dual layer container(to keep things radiator/colder than fixed lunch box and it's not as small/narrow like fixed container)After conception other reviews, I was super strict with the lid but it happened anyhow.what is the point of having a lunch box if lunch is all over the floor(don't ever use the soubriquet on the lid!)And the screws that hold the soubriquet on the lid rust. Yikes!
- laura M

You have to make sure the lid is shut on this. It doesn't fully twist to shut, it only turns a little bit so you get scared that the lid isn't shut. It does not hold liquids at all, so you will have a mess if you put anything in the least watery or ripe in it. That life said, it is splendid, cute, and holds a lot more than you reflect. It's tiny but holds a LOT. I am happy with my purchase and would probably purchase a additional if this one failed or broke.
- Andrea L. Lunsford

This lunch amount is adorable!!! Shipping was super fast.Preeminent for dry foods - The lid twists on and off, so I wouldn't call it "air-forceful".Save for I'm not looking to put soupy foods in it anyway.I didn't see any washing recommendations -I've had aluminum water bottles with a painted finish automatically lose some of the top after one go on thru the dish-washer.I ran this lunch amount thru on the upper rack. It came out impeccably. Just so what I was looking for!
- A. Simmons

I bought this to take my lunch to work. At initially coworkers agreed that it was cute. I have the red one, so it was compared to an apple. I was very happy with it until a couple of equipment happened. As I was walking out of the parking lot, I at sea my grip even as moving my papers, etc. and dropped it. Now there is a big bump in the underside of the very thin metal. I reflect it must have held up best. At that calculate there was the calculate as moving it from the fridge, and the underside chop gone from the top. I had thought it was on tight, but I guess not. There was my lunch all over the stump. I'm currently not guaranteed if I must keep using it, or just Goodwill it and get something else everywhere at least the lid is more secure to the base.
- DeLux "DeLux"

I love this piece. It is exactly as described- I measured it and it is 4 cups. I thought it would be a bit bigger, the photo would do well to have something to gauge scale. It seems bigger in the pic, at smallest amount to me. I have a pyrex 2 cup liquid measuring cup. It is about that size. I probable something about twice this size. Still, it is adorable. I just can't use it for the enormous salads I like to take for lunch. Oh yes, if you use the 'plate' then there is only three cups of space below. Something to consider if you're planning to use it for a big green salad. I will likely use it for snacks and picnics with my son instead of lunches for work. Again, smaller than probable, and, adorable.
- Diana G.

Super Bowl Weather 2014: A Super Early Look At The Weather for Super Bowl ...

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Your first Super Bowl 2014 weather report expects it to be a cold affair for Peyton Manning.

Super Bowl XLVIII will be the first Super Bowl to be played outdoors in a cold weather environment. The game will take place at MetLife Stadium - the home stadium of the New York Giants and New York Jets - in East Rutherford New Jersey.

Since there's some controversy about whether or not a Super Bowl should be held outside in a cold weather environment, the forecast for this game will be closely watched. You could even say, among all the players in Super Bowl XLVIII - Peyton Manning, Richard Sherman, Wes Welker - the weather is the biggest wild card of the bunch!

We are currently 13 days away from kickoff of Super Bowl XLVIII, so let's take a early look at the forecast for the game...

(Via: Accuweather)

Accuweather is forecasting a high of 35 degrees with a 35% chance of precipitation during the day. The weather forecast for that night looks to be precipitation-free, but windy and cold. They're predicting a low of 19 degrees with gusts near 20 mph. That will give a real-feel of a brisk 11 degrees.

The popular Farmers Almanac predicted a winter storm to hit the east coast that weekend.

"It really looks like the Super Bowl may be the Storm Bowl," said Sandi Duncan, managing editor of the Almanac.

Being two weeks away from the big game, the forecast will change multiple times in the coming days. Right now it looks like it's going to be a cold windy night for the Broncos and the Seahawks.

How do you think Peyton Manning and the Broncos will handle the cold Super Bowl weather?

What Google Really Gets Out of Buying Nest for $3.2 Billion

Tony Fadell and Matt Rogers.

When Google announced yesterday its $3.2 billion cash purchase of Nest, the jokes flew. If your house is burning down youll now get gmail ads for fire extinguishers, Valleywags Sam Biddle tweeted.

But no one who has watched Google struggle with the hardware business in recent years could really believe it would just be shelling out for thermostats and smoke detectors, no matter how smart Nests reinventions of those devices might be. Though Google says Nest will retain its own identity as a company, the partnerships potential sets up some seriously great expectations of an entire world populated with Google-powered smart devices.

Both companies believe in letting the technology do the hard work behind the scenes so that people can get on with their lives, Nest CEO Tony Fadell told WIRED in an interview just after the deal was announced.

Our roadmap furthered letting tech do the hard work, he said. (Google) said, can you do this more quickly?

Nests first product was a smart thermostat that adjusts to your living patterns.

And for Google, speed is essential. The key lesson from the just-ended Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is that serious innovation in core gadget lines like smartphones and televisions is coming to an end (see bendable screens as Exhibit A).

Google itself has never managed to make a mark in either category.

Not only that, its much heftier $12.9 billion purchase of Motorola Mobility has mostly served as a strong drag on its bottom line.

Instead, the excitement at the show was around wearables and the so-called internet of things. The future of hardware isnt better versions of the same standalone tech. Its what you can create when you take all the smarts of the smartphone and build them into everything else.

As its own early dive into wearables with Google Glass demonstrates, Google knows it cant miss this next big leap in hardware, which would end up costing the company much more than $3 billion in lost opportunities.

Heres what Google gets for its money:

A Product Master Who Beat Apple to the Next Big Thing

Before co-founding Nest, CEO Tony Fadell was best known for designing the iPod, an impressive enough feat on its own. But Fadell reportedly charmed the impossible-to-please Steve Jobs with a bit of conference room showmanship that ensured his place in Apple lore.

Faddell went to the table, grabbed all the parts hed shown earlier, and began snapping them together like a LEGO model, Leander Kahney recounts in his biography of Apples chief designer, Jony Ive. He handed the electronic sandwich to Jobs. And so began the upending of both the tech and entertainment industries.

Buying Nest doesnt bring Ive to Google. But Fadell might be an even better catch. Fadell is an engineer with demonstrated mastery over all aspects of the hardware process, with a high-design sensibility to boot. From supply chain and components to fit and finish, Fadell has shown he can manage a product for a company with Apples global reach.

Whats more, Nest shows he also has the chops to bring a product to market without the support and resources of a massive multinational. He even beat Apple into the so-called smart home with a line of products that look and feel like what Apple might have designed if it had gotten there first.

This allows us to concentrate on the stuff that differentiates us, Fadell tells WIRED.

Its almost tempting to think of Google and Nest as what might happen if Apple and the search giant had come together themselves. Its an impression only furthered by Nests apparent poaching of an iPod software director to become its head of new product engineering, as first reported by The Information.

Throw in Fadells proven record as someone who cannot only design and make tech devices but has the stage presence to sell it, and Google is buying itself near-instant and much-needed credibility in the world of hardware.

More Than the Devices, the Network

Google has built nearly its entire business on its unmatched ability to wring value out of the web. But its easy to forget that the web and the internet are not synonymous. The web is one medium made up mostly of human-crafted content. Google knows how to find that content and connect us to the pieces most relevant to what we want to know.

The value that Nest is creating, by contrast, stems from the connections it is forging among its devices themselves. Nests thermostat, for instance, doesnt just turn itself on and off when you tell it. Over time, as the Nest Learning Thermostat uses its sensors to train itself according to your comings and goings, the entire network of Nests in homes across the country becomes smarter.

The paramount value of the devices, in a sense, lies not in the hardware itself but the interconnectedness of that hardware. As the devices talk to each other, by building an aggregate picture of human behavior, they anticipate what we want before even we know.

On the outside its sexy, but its workings are all about exploiting the growing infrastructure of sensors and connectivity around us, WIREDs Steven Levy wrote in a feature when the Nest Protect smoke detector was released. The algorithms created by Nests machine-learning experts are all about exploiting the growing infrastructure of sensors and connectivity around us.

Now imagine that infrastructure not just connected, but connected by Google. With its product and design expertise, Nest provides Google an ideal platform for stretching the power of its own intelligent machines beyond the web and into the internet of things.

Nest has made no secret that it doesnt plan to stop at the thermostat and the smoke detector. It wants to take all the mundane but important technologies you use every day in your home and make them smarter and more pleasing what Fadell calls the conscious home.

As a company that has long made investments in the energy sector, Googles ambitions likely extend beyond the home, as well. Imagine Nest extrapolated from the home-based consumer market into the world of hardcore infrastructure. If the Nest thermostat can help us be smarter about how we use energy in our homes, imagine what it could do for the entire grid.

Knowing What We Do When Were Not on the Web

Nests second product, a smoke alarm thats networked with the thermostat.

While shoring up its hardware business is likely a key motivation for its acquisition of Nest, Google still makes nearly all its money based on an oft-repeated maxim (though not by Google): You are the product.

The value Google sells its customers that is, advertisers lies in its peerless understanding of our online behavior.

Google knows what we search for, so it can sell advertisers the eyeballs of someone who has already stated some interest in what they sell. Google reads our Gmail anonymized, of course and can target us with ads based on what we appear to be discussing in our private conversations.

One area of human behavior Google has yet to colonize as successfully is what we do when were not directly interacting with a screen, whether on a PC or mobile device. That in theory changes with Nest.

In answer to the question of whether Nest will share its customer data with Google, the company reportedly said its standing by its existing privacy policy, which clearly limits the use of customer information to providing and improving Nests products and services.

But even anonymized user data would give Google incredible new insights into our behavior in the physical world that its vast roster of very smart people could figure out how to leverage in order to advance its business.

Perhaps Google could pair our movements with how we shop say, using Googles own same-day delivery service. Or some choice we make offline that compels us to perform a particular search.

This may sound creepy, but much like using Google for search, it could become the price of admission for participation in the internet of things. Every choice we make using connected devices leaves a trace. And no one is better than Google at figuring out how to turn those traces into dollars.

Innovating in a Regulated Market

Nest Energy Services are a set of features introduced by Nest last year that link up its smart thermostats with utility companies themselves. As described over at Fast Company, the government requires energy companies to figure out ways to save power and make themselves more efficient.

Nest allows its users who are customers of a handful of partner utilities to save money on their energy bills by opting in to a program that, via their thermostats, curbs their power consumption during peak hours.

In the process, Nest has shown it not only can sell cool gadgets to consumers, but it can sell big companies on its ideas. Not only that, but by stepping in between energy providers and users, Nest has shown an ability to negotiate one of the most fraught regulatory environments around.

Google has made its own sorties into that territory, as well. But for Google, Nest becomes a module the bigger company can jack into its hivemind for instant intelligence about a complex system that until now has kept Google largely on the outside.

More on Nest

Nest Gives the Lowly Smoke Detector a Brain And a Voice

Nests Plan to Stop Brownouts Before They StartWhat Nest (and Tony Fadell) Get From Google

As CEO of a growing company with global aspirations, Fadell says hes been forced to contend with a lot of stuff that has little to do with Nest products themselves. From new offices to websites and servers to tax codes, he says all the moving parts of making a business work meant less time for taking part in pushing ahead what Nest actually makes.

Now, with Google set to get behind him (the deal has not officially closed), Fadell gets to be that most coveted of Silicon Valley executives: the product CEO. Like Steve Jobs himself, who was intimately involved in product design, Fadell is now free to bury his hands back into what he loves and has shown he does best.

I was spending so much time in my days just worrying about infrastructure and not worrying about product, Fadell says. With Google, which Fadell describes as this wind at our back, Nest no longer has to worry about building that infrastructure. Its already there. This allows us to concentrate on the stuff that differentiates us, he says.

Despite the transformative success of the iPod, Fadell eventually left Apple. According to Kahneys book, he was forced out in a power struggle with Ive. Whatever the circumstances, siding with Google in what promises to be the next great contest in consumer hardware sends a clear signal that the race is on. By infusing Google with his Apple DNA, Fadell is at the center of a potentially amazing hybrid creation that could finally bring the internet of things to life for all of us.

With additional reporting by Kyle VanHemert.

My granddaughter twisted 5 just, and I was looking pro a gift including the intention of would journey water supply and its usefulness would hold out additional than its early function (so evenly toys get on to laid up your sheath and quickly ended and done). She at approximately calculate ago proverb how enjoyable it would be to be inflicted including a Hello Fund dine amount, save pro also couldn't pass the time to do the 100-peice puzzle. It has a allocation of superfluous opportunity surrounded by, so before to I wrapped it, I wedged in the Hello Fund Dress Me Up Attractive Kit and she is by the surrounded by take in of the lunchbox to stab her magnets on. I may maybe be inflicted including deposit in a release just any additional tiny HK equipment (i.e. pro her hair or crayons, pencils, and including the intention of) excessively if credentials planning of it faster. Skilled by and large regard, and who knows? May maybe even be a aerial's piece in 50 being!

I was looking for a lunchbox for my 5 years old daughter to use it in school but became extremely disapointed. The handle is extremely weak, I'll be surprised if it last more than a week. I find a further metal dine box in oldnavy that looks great and seems to be strong and for a better price. I would not recommend this dine box.
- mirta

My daughter loves this dine box. I love that it is old school. Very lasting and cute! She is 10 yrs. old so the puzzle was not that thrilling for her.

Estes 1491 Taser Launch Set Recent Reviews

I love this set it flies super high on a B6-4.it comes with a E2X rocket an lanch pad and controler.when I at the initiation flew this business I not dredge up the lining and to make a longstory fleeting it agreed up the ghost
- joe

This thing is great fun. My 7 time old loves it and I have a blast with it as well. You might want to consider purchasing approximately of the less powerful engines. They still shoot the thing up very high but make it easier to track and find. We've spent more than a few minutes trying to locate the rocket after launching with the more powerful engines. It does take approximately work to build the rocket but not much. Make sure you give the glue time to completely dry or you could find pieces falling rancid (yep, voice of experience).
- JP

I be inflicted including been launching rockets pro ended 25 being currently and I got this starter kit pro my nephew to get on to him into the hobby. As he opened the gift, he was perfectly stoked and equipped to initiation putting it collectively. This rocket came including numerous fake pieces in the fin gathering. I be inflicted including built hundreds of rockets and the ones be fond of this only seem to be overly complicated pro no skilled mind. All of the additional parts, be fond of the launch pad and the detonation amount are all ordinary Estes parts and bring about splendid.Including gathering, we launched the rocket 6 era and it worked be fond of a champ. The release business including the intention of was tiresome is including the intention of I am old to having a handbook tube on the rocket including the intention of goes on the launch pad rod, keep pro this rocket had two loops as a substitution for of a tube. This owing to it a modest extra tiresome to deposit the rocket on the rod, keep pro currently I am only louse alternative. Pro the fee, this is a splendid starter kit ended all.

I bought this rocket fir my 11-y.o. sister for Xmas, along with thee engines. She was very exited to launch it! We just launched it this weekend, and it flew beautifully. It took some time for my sister to put it together, but its a good scheme for kids culture to put stuff together, and stay on gathering directions. We used fiberglass filling for the lining, and A-8 engines. We're going to launch it again with C-6 today- Can't wait!
- Marlese

This is the first model-type rocket that I have ever owned. I got it through the Amazon Vine curriculum for assess.I didn't grasp that the rocket set doesn't come with the engines. I probably should have realized that, but I didn't. So if you are purchasing this, make sure to get some engines too.The rocket was moderately easy to put collectively. You do need to hold some rubber underline or a touch, the rocket doesn't come with that. My son who is 4 years old, was able to help some but he beyond doubt looked-for an adult to do the margin of the gathering.Once all was put collectively getting it set up to launch was easy. And the rocket took off like...well...a rocket! We did have a couple harms after the 3rd or 4th launch. You have to wrap of the parachute very correctly. If the parachute is too far down the tube it will melt on the edges; if it is wrapped too tightly it won't install. It took a couple tries to get it to install impeccably. We also had a bit of problem with the plastic parts cracking on upstairs hallway, which we were able to fix with glue.Use the smaller engines since the better ones shoot the rocket so far that it is trying to find.By and large this was a fun model rocket to start with. It was easy to assemble and held collectively okay. You just need to be strict with how you put the parachute in.
- Karissa Eckert "Devourer of all books fantasy"

Plastic parts and a prepainted tube make this rocket a quick turnaround starting wrap to launch, just be guaranteed to have glue, engines and 4 AA batteries which are not included. This is a good starter fit to taste out out the hobby, save for you should expect to exchange most everything in the fit if you stab with the hobby as the launch pad is about as lightweight as you can get.You can expect to pay $2-$3 per launch for the one time aid rocket engines you will need for this rocket. If you are giving this as a gift, include a amount of A8-3 so the rocket doesn't end up nomadic away and getting at sea.The engines you can aid are: A8-3(Initially Running away), B4-4, B6-4, B6-6, C6-5, C6-7The letter indicates the whole power produced by the engine, each letter doubles the power. The initially number indicates the norm thrust in NewtonsThe last number indicates the delay between engine shutdown and parachute ejectionExpect about 200 feet distinguished for this develop on an A8-3, about 500-700ft on the B4-4, B6-4, B6-6, and about 800-1000ft for the C6-5, C6-7.
- C. Weaver

My Dad got this for my 5 year old for Xmas. Fantastic gift. Of way he's not old ample to build it and launch it himself, but we (I) put it collectively in less than a link hours. We launched it 3 era now and it was fantastic. My criticisms are:* Directions are a bit cryptic and on numerous pages.* Engines, igniters and lining are NOT built-in in the rocket wrap and the wrap is not apparent in this area that. You'll need to get persons unconnectedly.Tons of fun and it goes high. Launch it on a not-so-turbulent day in an open field or you'll be export a 2nd one with your at the initiation launch. Take pleasure in.
- John F. Waldron Jr.

Amazon wants me to write twenty words, but the title actually says it all. My daughter and I built the rocket, was great. But this stand is actually cheap. The one depiction is in fact the old style (which was more established), but not what comes with the set.
- Joshua Page "Nickodemous"

Does not include Porta Pad II as described and publicized in picture. Has Astron pad as a replacement for. Not flush close to constant capability. Astron pad not as rigid, only skilled for smaller rockets, and cannot be aimed water supply for wind adjustment. But is a skilled access level kit for a first rocket experience at a low price.
- sonicf

This was a splendid toy that fun to build with my son and gave him a in tears to talk about at lecture. It comes with all but the engines and they do not tell you what engines to get.so.. Use the A8-3 Rocket Engines! It gets a splendid hight and you can see it take off and soothe find it when it domain. The C engines are to much and you will lose the rocket. You can buy the engines in bulk and that can give you a few day out with the rocket. This is a splendid set!

Nigella Lawson: Court Appearance 'Mortifying'

Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson described her testimony in court as mortifying as trial lawyers put distortions of her private life on public display.

The BBC reports that Lawson took the stand as a witness in a fraud case against two of her former assistants. She was accused of habitually abusing cocaine and providing false testimony. While her assistants were eventually cleared of all charges, Lawson felt that her reputation had been dragged through the mud.

I did my civic duty, only to be maliciously vilified without the right to respond, Lawson said, before steering the interview away from self-pity and back to the second season premiere of her cooking show The Taste.
