We purchased this preside over for our 9 year old. We got a desk from a additional vendor but now I wish we had also purchased the desk to contest. The quality of the preside over is good, and it was very easy to put together. The seat has a soft cushion in a microfiber type notes. The wood affect is just so what it looks like in the photo. The wood form of the preside over is very sturdy. We are happy with this purchase. - Jenny O
